Bye Bye Pool did a fabulous job removing our 40x15 pool. From bid to final clean-up, the BBP team was highly skilled, efficient and professional. All necessary steps were taken to protect our deck, landscaping and irrigation from damage, and the entire project was completed within the promised time frame. Despite a very narrow access path for their equipment, all work was completed without a scratch to our fences and walls. The project area was swept daily, and both the site and street were thoroughly cleaned at the end of the project. On the administrative side, Rafael was prompt and helpful in preparing a fair and competitive bid, and Susi was friendly, helpful and thorough in negotiating the contract, scheduling the project and securing the city permit. We had the pleasure of working with Rafael, Zander, Susi and others from the team. We were very impressed with the service and the level of professionalism with which the job was done. For us, it was important to get this job right, as we were very nervous from other people's experience wherein their land over the swimming pool started to sink. Rafael explained the process to me, and my own research informed me that he was doing it the right way, with proper compaction layer by layer and soil testing for peace of mind to know that the job is done right.In between, we had a few surprises, as we discovered that the side of the pool had a weird support, after we removed the pool. Rafael came out to explain the situation, gave me the option to continue without increasing the scope of the project to not increase cost, but making sure I was aware of the trade off. I really appreciated this. Finally, I wanted to note, another sign that BBP really takes care of their customers is that a small task was left over, partly my fault as I thought I was going to do more work in the area and could get it done by someone else, so hadn't insisted it on BBP. It so turned out that the ppl working on my backyard forgot to cover up the holes from the swimming pool pipe. I got in touch with BPP and they took the trouble to come out to complete the job.It's been over a year since the job, and I can confirm that the surface has not sunken, confirming that the job was done right. I was very happy with BBP. They were the only one of the four contractors who said that they could  bring equipment in through our 4 foot gate and take it across our wooden deck without breaking the deck (the others all wanted to cut about 20 feet of deck away). They put down plywood and did it. Zander was great, as were the men who worked with him. The deck looks good, the pool is filled in, and there were no problems. I would highly recommend them, especially if you have a partial removal with very limited access (I would guess they would do just as well with full removals, but obviously do not have experience.) BBP did a fantastic job doing a complete removal of my pool. From permitting, demolition, to filling. Suzi is very responsive and friendly, and the crew was professional, and fast.The only issue I had was that one of their machines was leaking oil pretty bad and left trails and puddles of oil stains on my street. While I appreciate that the crew tried to clean it up, the stains wouldn't come out. Hopefully the leak has been fixed and won't be an issue for others. We found bye bye pool on Yelp. When we contacted them, we got the response immediately.  They had a site visit and explained to us the process.  They put together a quote that most reasonable compared to 2 other vendors we interviewed.  The project proceeded according to the plan. We highly recommend Bye Bye Pl services for pool demolition. We hired them for a full demo including engineered compaction.The team was friendly and professional, answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns. Once work began, they finished it very quickly. They handled the heavy machinery as if they were master instructors. Susie was very responsive to our queries.The result was great. We also hired BBP Pavers to install pavers for a complete makeover of the backyard hardscape. They were synchronized and there was no wait time between them. Adrian (demo) and Sebastian (pavers) as the leads of their crews were both responsive to our requests and questions and were careful and efficient in their work. We recently did a full pool removal and selected BBP to do the job. The quoting process was fast and efficient, covering everything from demolition details, property access and city requirements. The bid was very competitive. In addition, BBP was accommodating when it came to scheduling the start date as well as protecting plants and property as they worked. The job started and finished within the time frame they quoted us. They dealt with the city building department for permitting, inspections and other building department special needs :) During the entire process Suzi (and at times others in the office) were informative and always available by phone.
